Hello,<br />
<br />
I wanted to post one of my recent Crochet Projects that I completed for my daughter. I purchased this pattern in <a href="https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/AmourFouCrochet?ref=l2-shop-info-avatar&listing_id=229312037">Amour Fou's Etsy shop</a><br />
<br />
The pattern was so easy to follow, and I can not be more pleased with the results. Flora now sits proudly on display in my teenagers room. She can be found sleeping in her pot, or sometimes standing tall.<br />
<br />
If you have any wonderful crochet patterns, I would love see them. Send me the links in the comment section.<br />
<br />
Happy Krafting,<br />

Hello,<br />
<br />
August has come, and is almost gone! I am still doodling; however Amigurumi Animal Crocheting has peaked my interest. If I ever finish a project, I will be sure to post a picture! <br />
<br />
The above are too caricatures, on recycled paper. Simply having fun in the summer.<br />
<br />
Happy Tuesday!<br />

Hello<br />
<br />
I am having so much fun with my caricatures. I start out with a colored pencil, then I outline with my sharpie. Adding lines and such for dimension. Then it is coloring time. <br />
<br />
I folded this paper and added sharpie on the other side of the creases, and allowed it to bleed through. Something new, and I will be trying it again, with colored sharpies next time.<br />
<br />
This is one of my favorites so far. It may just end up on my wall, in a frame. I like when I finish something and it puts a smile on my face.<br />
<br />

Hello,<br />
<br />
Doodles again on scrap envelopes and paper pieces. I am really enjoying the daily activity of quick sketching, with the occasional urge to color.<br />
<br />
Happy Friday,<br />

Hello<br />
<br />
My youngest was getting her hair done last night, so I grabbed a pencil, marker and piece of paper out of my bag. I really think their may be a kitchen sink in my shoulder bag; it is full of sketching supplies.<br />
<br />
This was my sketch for the evening. Another whimsical face. I love not having rules, nor expectations when I am simply doodling for fun.<br />
<br />
Happy Rainy Wednesday,<br />

<br />
Hello,<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the left, I used scraps of paper from a magazine, colored the background, then used my funny dog washi tape, to create a scene. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the right, I simply cut a funny shape into the top right corner, added some swirls and twirls, then colored and sketched until I felt I was done. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is my 4 x 4 sketchbook. I like using it because I don't have a lot of space to work with, and creating little pages is so satisfying when time is limited.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Happy Wednesday,</div>

Hello,<br />
<br />
I was looking back at my winter sketchbook, and came across these two. The eye in the top picture is part of Dina Wakely's washi tape collection. The rest is paint and ink. The bottom one is a blind drawing. I drew things that I was seeing, while not looking at the paper. I love how things turn out. So very odd; but I am also so very odd. <br />
<br />
I love the perfectly imperfect art that I create.<br />
<br />

Hello,<br />
<br />
I have tons of paper scraps at home. Such as the above Children's Passport booklet we get, every time we go to the Children's Museum. They get placed on my desk, and sit there for years! So instead of buying new sketchbooks, I am using whatever I have laying around. <br />
<br />
Again, my whimsical faces, and then doodling and adding splashes of color, paint, and washi tape. I am certainly being colorful.<br />
<br />
Happy Tuesday!<br />

Hello<br />
<br />
Here is another sketch/carving on a piece of scrap wood. Owls always make an appearance in the winter months, on my drive to and from work.The knot in the wood looked like a beak; thus the owl inspiration.<br />
<br />
I had a busy and odd weekend. A sick dog on Friday (due to me treating him to boiled beef), the husband was away, a hair cut apt for one daughter, and trying to find 2 grad dresses for both daughters.<br />
<br />
Now it is Monday, and a new week is upon us. <br />
<br />
Happy Last Week in May!<br />

<br />
Hello,<br />
<br />
I decided to try sketching on some of the wood scraps that find their way onto the loading dock at work. I love drawing whimsical faces, like the above. This is my first attempt, and am excited to put her on my wall. <br />
<br />
If I decide I don't like her, I can always use her for kindling during one of our summer fires at the cottage.<br />
<br />
Happy Friday!<br />

Hello,<br />
<br />
I have been sketching like a madwoman lately. These are all in my 4x4 "The Back Pocket" book. I have not bee posting, as I have not been in a card making mood. But I have decided for 2018 to show you all my Random Acts of Krafting. Feel free to send comments, or simply say hi! I would love to hear from those of you in blog land.<br />
<br />
Happy Friday,<br />
Hugs,<br />

<u><b>Good Morning :)</b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Another page from my 2017 journal. Sketching/doodling and using textured mediums and paint. I added a bit of stitching to the left side too. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I named this one "Swim" as the doodle on the right page reminded me of a whale underwater.
</div>

Another page in my 2017 art journal. Collage, paint, markers, pencils, pen and ink. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My kiddos love blind boxes, so I often use the cardboard and collage them in to my books.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It is a good way of remembering what they were into throughout the year.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
If I forget my journal, I tend to grab paper that is laying around. Such as this one. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Washi tape is fantastic for adhering my scraps into my book.</div>

<b><br /></b>
<b>Better Late Than Never,</b><br />
<br />
I have decided to start posting again on blogger. I will post about books, art projects, and basic life happenings.
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_KstFiEPzaAiYBLTC9xe98J4EOuUi-Qjuje10FycEJVHB3roiMsQjrCgg5eIXaQSLLfH5aTXqMPFaQa4JiT6QJfQRWDSKobGaOo3bqUNSjyAoglbloLgqFEIi8CzP87K72j24kwSd40v7/s1600/ArtJournalfeb22.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_KstFiEPzaAiYBLTC9xe98J4EOuUi-Qjuje10FycEJVHB3roiMsQjrCgg5eIXaQSLLfH5aTXqMPFaQa4JiT6QJfQRWDSKobGaOo3bqUNSjyAoglbloLgqFEIi8CzP87K72j24kwSd40v7/s400/ArtJournalfeb22.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Here I have a page from my Art Journal. My 2017 work in progress. I started this one using my <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product?id=137713&currency=USD">Dyan Reaveley Small Creative Journal</a>, and <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product?id=93427&currency=USD">Ranger Dylusion InkSprays</a>. I purchased these supplies from <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/">Simon Says Stamp</a>. <br />
<br />
Once the ink dried, I sat with the page, and outlined the shapes that I saw with my <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Sakura-FINE-LINES-SET-Pigma-Micron-Pens-30062-30062SK?currency=USD">Sakura Pigma Micron pens</a>. It ended up being a Rhinoceros. I still may doodle on it some more, but I currently like the way she looks.<br />
<br />
Happy Kreating!<br />
Hugs,<br />

<b>Hello</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Just thought to show you what I have been up to. I have been taking all the used envelopes from work, and sewing them together to make mini books. I proceed to color and doodle on them. Using them to journal, and to glue things into them that I can not throw out. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJISEcVHnavDLqTR95S8iPc7Dv6ecTLWGw_U7hTdee6s4FWnY5lO2MNv0_na_snbbErUshyphenhyphenqeWVrnExa_P7eYfyuCXFC99-SpSD75uUZy1NY9YNKPnDbBpKMasGP1A8RKO68HDSGVDsEpZ/s1600/Recycle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJISEcVHnavDLqTR95S8iPc7Dv6ecTLWGw_U7hTdee6s4FWnY5lO2MNv0_na_snbbErUshyphenhyphenqeWVrnExa_P7eYfyuCXFC99-SpSD75uUZy1NY9YNKPnDbBpKMasGP1A8RKO68HDSGVDsEpZ/s400/Recycle.jpg" width="235" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can take these mini books anywhere, and doodle on them to keep me busy. Very handy while waiting on the girls when they are doing their activities.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Happy Friday!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hugs,</div>

Margery Leveen Sher, the Founder and Chief Noticing Officer of The Did Ya Notice? Project™, is a writer, speaker, entrepreneur, and executive. She also posts weekly "Noticing" essays on her blog, <a href="http://www.didyanotice.com/">www.DidYaNotice.com.</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I carry this book with me in my purse. It is the kind of book that can be picked up and read, over and over. I often reach for it when I need a pick-me-up. Each chapter has me looking at situations in a totally different light. It has me thinking, relaxing, and smiling. I am able to include my family into the joys of noticing by using the "Conversation-Starter" section that follows each chapter. There is nothing like talking at the dinner table, and bringing laughter into the house.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One of the fun prompts is to have the whole house make a list of their top 10 annoying things. This prompt allows us to express ourselves, without being too serious! There are no right or wrong answers, something both my girls like. They are able to speak, be heard, and acknowledged for who they are. This book helps to bring out our individuality. Something that is to be cherished.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So our routine is changing! We are noticing things more, due to the conversations we are having. I often send the girls to school and ask them to bring home a piece of new information. Be it sight, sound, texture, scent etc.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I do admit, when I asked them how their school smelled, they looked at me funny. When I continued to ask them the same question 2 days in a row, I finally got answers. Hot Dogs, running shoes, and something odd that they could not pinpoint. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So my friends, my question to you is;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
"What does your place of employment smell like?"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Here are my 2 Artist Trading Card (ATC's) creations, for this months Stampotique Worn Out Tattered SWAP</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I loved making these. I had fun taking my time trying out different coloring techniques, using my Touch markers. I wish I made doubles this month, I would have loved to keep them for me. When I feel this way, I have no problems sending them out in the mail, because the persons receiving them are getting the very best of my Kraftiness. I am also learning to let go of some of my pretty things. You can only keep the happiness Krafting gives you, by giving that happiness away to others.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What kinds of things do you like to create? Do you keep your favorite's for yourself?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do tell!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Happy Krafting, </div>

Hugs,</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi Peeps,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One of the Art Exchanges I participated in was all about taking a playing card and using it to create something with a "Fairy Tale" theme. I tried to find my card decks, but of course could not find them. So I "borrowed/took" a Spot it game card from one of my daughters and created the above.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Can you guess which Fairy Tales I used as my MOJO?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yup, Anna from Frozen, and Little Red Riding Hood.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What is on your Krafting table this weekend? Do tell.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Happy Krafting,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hugs,</div>
