Can't get enough of this stamp set!

This is one of my favorite CTMH stamp sets. I like the way this bow turned out too. I distressed the edges to give things a bit more dimension, and popped up the worm and the tulip.

Another simple card, that was really fun to make.

Have a great Monday everyone.

Another Father's day card

This is the card I made for my husband. I could not post it before as he may have been looking!

I am ok with it, but would have preferred popping him up a bit more. I did not have the stamp, so I had to make due. He loved it, and that is all that matters. I kept it pretty simple as I wanted it to look masculine.

Have a great weekend,

Tanya :)

Teacher's Gift

Hello,

I am frantically making cards for others, and out the door they go, without a chance to snap a pic of them! I fell asleep with the girls tonight, but had to get up to prepare her goodbye gift for her teacher.

I got this template from Split Coast Stampers. It was really easy to make, and thought it was a gift for a teacher, who has to leave many a notes for others.

I put my husband to work, making him cut pencils for me, as I wanted something prettier than a golf pencil.
This project matches the card I made for her, that I posted last week. I have added a gift card for chapters in it. Hopefully she can get something to read while relaxing, now that the school year is over. 2 more days! Wow, Karlye did it. My baby has finished her first year of school.

Hopefully I get more posted this week.

Have a good Wednesday!

P.S Sorry for the first picture, the color is a bit off as my battery is dying on my camera.

The inside of Daddy's Card.

Jayme colored the. dragon and the castle bit, Karlye did the knight. As you can see, for Halloween Daddy was their Knight in Shinning Armor. I hope he likes his card.

They both worked very hard on it.

Daddy's Card!

Here is the Father's day Card my girls worked on. Karlye colored the front of it, and stayed in the lines, although I had to cut them out, so you can not tell. She worked very hard on it. I put the pop up dots on, and she placed them on the page.

"Happiness is a Journey not a Destination"

This is my second Father's day card. For my Papa George in Colorado. I just sent it out today, so hopefully he does not peek on my blog.

This one was fun. It is completely done with my Stampin Up Supplies.

The statement inside is "Happiness is a Journey, not a Destination". I wish George a very Happy Father's Day. It has been a challenging year for him.

Have a good day everyone, I will post the card my daughters and I made for Daddy tomorrow.

For Karlye's Teacher

Hello,

This is what I created for Karlye's teacher. In just two short weeks, Karlye will have finished her first year in school. I am still in shock as to how much she has grown this year. It makes my eyes water. But I am so proud of her.

I just have to figure out what kind of gift to send the teacher. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I used my Copic markers for this one. I am still trying to figure them out. I used the blender to ad the highlight to the apple. I also used two shades of yellow for her hair to give it a dimensional feel. But I will have to practice for sure. I have to credit Theredhairedgirl blog for the layout. It was all her doing, she helped me piece this card together.

Hopefully everyone has a good Monday. I hear The Greeting Farm has a new release come Monday. It is always nice to start the day with something new.

P.S. Karlye is obsessed with skin tone pencil crayons! She had a peach freezy tonight, and proudly let me know that it was the colour of skin! Too funny.

Thanks for reading my blog.

Lost my Creativity!

Where or where has my oomph gone? I tried to make a card for Karlye's teacher last night, and I just could not get it together. I used my Copics to color my teacher Anya, and I don't know if I like it. I will try again tonight, if I get the time. It has been one crazy month, and I have 6 cards to make.

Have a great Thursday,

Tanya :)

Thank you Pique Dance Studio

My daughter's ballet classes are coming to an end, and I wanted to say thank you to the studio. Here is the card I made for them.

I embossed cardstock and then cut them out using the BigShot machine. I used purple for her body suit as that is the color Pique Dance studio requests their dancers wear.

Karlye and Jayme's hair color is blond, hence the yellow. I still need to practice blonde coloring. This turned out a bit too yellow.

I am having lots of fun lately. Tonight I have some Birthday cards to make, but I have to do 30 minutes on the eliptical machine, so we will see how much energy I have left.

Have a great weekend everyone. I hope you all get some downtime.

Father's Day Looms in the Horizon

Well here is my first Father's day card. This one is for my Father-in-Law. It was easy, quick and fun to do.

I hope it is masculine enough.

I just got home from the park with the girls. Making the most out of the warm weather.

Got to go wash some feet and hands.

Thank Goodness for Friends

Happy Tuesday.

We just got back from Karlye's school picnic. Chaos, a lot of fun, and an evening show that proves my girls have personalities of their own. Watching them interact with others truly amazes me. I hope they maintain there outgoing personalities.

I did this card a while back, and I am posting it today because it reminds me of a friend.
I nominated her for an award at work, and she found out. She emailed a thank you, and I still feel it is me that should be thanking her.

Have a great Wednesday!

My girls were really emotional today, and the weather sure did not help the mood in the house. Story time was fun though, and they were asleep fairly early. So I am uploading some eye candy.

A co-worker needed a birthday card, and she chose the pink one I posted last week. So I had to make my sister a new card.

Good thing I stamped up a storm at Jenn's, as I had another Miss Anya to color. I think my sister will prefer this one anyways, it is more her color.

Talk to you all soon. I am working on Father's day cards now. I will post a few soon.
