2 Cute Rubber Stamps Spring Color Challenge

Good Morning!

Team B has the task of inspiring you this week for the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps challenge, and even though I am on Team A,  I just had to play along. The theme this week is Spring Colors, will you play along with us? Just and FYI, you don't have to use 2 Cute Rubber stamps (but we so love seeing you use them) as long as you follow the theme, you have the chance to win your very own 2 Cute images.

Nothing says spring like greens and pink. Green reminds me of the lovely grass that begins to grow after the long winter, and the pink is all about the pretty pink sun dresses my girls have been begging to let them wear all winter! LoliHop, the 2 Cute Rubber stamp I used reminds me of the Easter Bunny, and the treats he loves to leave behind in the Springtime.

We have had such a cold wet spring! We just came back from Disney World where we got a whole week of warm warm sunshine. We are now back and my little one said it best "Mommy I want to go back to Disney World, I don't like the cold and the rain!"

Happy Krafting everyone, and I hope we all get a happy dose of sunshine soon.  Oh, I got my wish, the sun has come out to play, Yipeeeeee!
Hugs

2 Cute Rubber Stamps at Heather's Stamping Haven

Hello ladies,

I am teaching a course on June 25th at Heather's Stamping Haven.  This is one of the cards we will be making. For some reason, I just love making Loli Hop furry, he just looks so cute to me. Then again, I keep calling Loli a he, and Loli could very well be a she. During this class I will be showing you just how I created the furry appearance with my Copic markers.  If you are interested, be sure to call Heather's and reserve your spot.

If you don't live in Ottawa, you can also obtain Loli Hop at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps.  Loli comes in both rubber and Digi form.  How versatile!

Have a great evening,
Hugs
Tanya

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #71

Good Morning,

Here I am again with my sample for The Pixie Cottage Challenge #71. The Theme this week is "Here Comes the Sun" and we have a fabulous sketch for you too. Remember, you can chose to tackle both, or take on the theme or the sketch separately.  You can also play along using your own stamps if you do not have any Pixie Cottage stamps, but you have to use the theme and/or the sketch with your creation.

I chose Hannah on Swing found at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More, because swinging in the sunshine is such a fabulous thing to do.  I chose orange as my colors because it reminds me of a nice sunny day. To top it off, the sun charm and the wet embossed sunshine rays behind the tree.  Have I dosed you all with enough Vitamin C yet?

I can't wait to see your inspiring entries,
Happy Krafting,
Hugs,
Tanya

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #70

Good Morning,

Welcome to another Once Upon a Wednesday Pixie Cottage Challenge #70. This was such a fun sketch, and using the "Pink and Girlie" theme came naturally to me as I have 2 Girlie Girls at home who enjoy a healthy dose of pink from time to time.

What better Pixie Cottage Stamp to use than  Hannah on Stepping Stones.  She is just so Girlie don't you think? This stamp can be purchased at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More, as well as Heather's Stamping Haven in Ottawa.

I decided to paper piece her dress after a failed attempt at coloring and matching up the pink tones, and I popped up the ruffles of her dress to add dimension.  I then added the background image.  I am experimenting with my Copics and Blender fluid lately, and I used a fabulous cloth to add the texture in the border around the rainbow.  I love how it worked and am excited to try it again, perhaps with sponges next time.

Happy Krafting ladies, enjoy this weeks challenge,
Hugs,
Tanya

PWCO Sunday Sketch #82

Hi Ladies,

Yup, I was supposed to be packing, but my daughter wanted some craft time, and I was overwhelmed, so we sat and crafted together. This is my card using PWCO's Sunday Sketch #82.

Don't you just love it when you see a sketch and it prompts you to use something in your stash! This sketch made me think of my Spellbinders, so indeed that is what I used. I also used all of March's PWCO kit on this one. Choosing this cute PWCO Zoe the Tennis Player stamp at the oval in the sketch. Yes, I finally got to using this stamp that Sheena gifted me with last year! Thanks Sheena, this was so fun to color.

Happy Krafting,
Hugs

2 Cute Rubber Stamps Birthday Challenge

Good Morning,

How are you this fine Tuesday? We have yet another  2 Cute Rubber Stamps challenge for you today. The theme being "Birthday for a Girl". Well let me tell you, my favorite Birthday gift is a really good chocolate cake. I mean the kind of cake that makes you have to eat it the very next morning with a cup of coffee, then come back to it at lunch time, and again at night for dessert. Hence the need to make my card a chocolate lovers delight using the  Cute Wedding Cake Digital image.

There are so many appropriate images in the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps store perfect for such a theme. This challenge runs for 2 weeks ladies, and I hope you decide to take part. You DO NOT have to use 2 Cute Rubber Stamp, you simply have to upload your cards pertaining to the theme. Won't you play with us? If your card is chosen you get your pick of 1 rubber stamp or 2 digital stamps. How cool is that!

Hope to see your creations!  Happy Krafting,
Hugs,
Tanya

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #69

Good Morning,

Welcome back to our Once Upon a Wednesday,  Pixie Cottage Challenge #69. The theme being "Tag You're it!" and the fab sketch is the one above. What will you create?  Will you tackle both the theme and the sketch, or will you separate them?

I headed straight for these new tags from 7 Gypsies. I had the design papers and the tape to match, and thus this creation seemed to just come together rather easily for me. I like when that happens, don't you?  For the image I used "Hannah on a Swing", a beautiful Pixie Cottage stamp indeed, and she is available at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More, as well as Heather's Stamping Haven.

I can't wait to be inspired by your work this week.

Happy Krafting,
Hugs

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #68

Good Morning,

This weeks Pixie Cottage Challenge #68 provides you with this  fab sketch below, and a "One for the Boys" theme.    I used the sketch but decided on a different shape for the center, chosing to go with a pale blue and green color scheme to incorporate the boy theme.  What colors do you associate with boy cards?
Today, I am using a Pixie Cottage background stamp called  "The Dock",  and I paired it up with a WOJ stamp. The Dock is available at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More, and she does carry the WOJ stamp line as well. I cut my shape out, then proceeded to stamp the image onto it. Once I had all the images colored in, I went about layering them with pop up dots.  Another one of my favorite things to do.

If you have Pixie Cottage stamps, we would love to see them used, but if don't that is ok too. As long as you incorporate the sketch and/or the theme you can enter your creation for a chance to win HERE. I hope you will join us this week.

Happy Krafting,
Hugs,
Tanya
